How do I allow participants to create and manage polls in the Polls tool?
Site Administrators can allow other participant roles in a site to create and manage polls by adjusting role permissions in Polls.
Go to Polls.
Select Polls from the tool menu of your site.
Select Permissions.
Edit and save permissions.
The tool permissions are organized in a table format. Each role within the site is included in columns in the table. Due to differences in site configurations, the roles listed in the table may differ from site to site.
To change the tool permissions:
- Select or unselect the checkboxes for the permissions to be added or removed. For example, to allow students to create polls, select the checkbox for Add a new poll in the Student column.
- Select Save to confirm the changes.
