How can I use a transcript in Media Gallery?
Many captioned videos and audio files in Media Gallery include transcripts. When a transcript is available, you can jump to a certain time in a video or audio file by searching for and selecting text in the transcript. This can help you quickly navigate to a point of interest.
You can also download and print the transcript. A transcript can be an excellent study aid, particularly if you prefer to learn by reading.
Note:
- Transcripts are available for most videos with closed captions. Content owners can enable closed captions by following steps in How can I make audio or video more accessible?
- Video quizzes do not display a transcript. A video quiz will pause automatically at each question that students must answer and may not allow skipping. For more information, see What is a video quiz, and how can I use it?
